Shipping information

For all shipments of our frozen goods we use high end quality, reusable Styrofoam boxes that can be reused as well as dry ice. Thus, we guarantee that all products will remain frozen for up to 72 hours. From now on we are only shipping with Express to guarantee the best delivery possible.

Shipping your products

Tropifruit ships products from Monday to Thursday. The limited shipping days (no shipping on Friday!) is because we are shipping you frozen food. To ensure that actually everything arrives frozen at your place, we do not dispatch and shipments over the weekend and will not ship your goods and orders placed with us on Thursdays after 11:00 AM until the following Monday.

Please make sure that you are able to receive your package (you confirm and accept this by placing the order with us as stated in the General Terms and Conditions paragraph 6.6 and 10.1 during the order process). The exact date of delivery, will be shown on the shipment confirmation, which will be sent to you by e-mail. Should you unexpectedly need to leave or nobody is at the delivery address at the delivery time to accept and receive the products, please make sure to inform a neighbor about the expected package/delivery and provide following documents in order to inform the driver. Express Shipping (Germany)

We charge you for each shipment by DPD Express, EUR 9,95 for your orders within Germany. All shipments of our products of 10kg or more receive FREE shipping! All shipments of Tropifruit products include all necessary packaging and dry ice. There is no minimum order size – but you need to place at least an order of 3kg or more in our online shopping cart to be able to complete the order. This minimum purchase is necessary and crucial because otherwise we cannot guarantee optimal cooling for smaller orders inside the transport box and packaging. The usual delivery time with DPD Express is next day until 18 pm, only in special cases it will need 2 days. Please inform us immediately in case of damage of a shipment and/or if the delivery time has significantly been longer than expected.

International Shipping

For all deliveries to other countries, we ship with DPD, standard package (regular ground) shipping (includes packaging and transport) to the following countries:
1. Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg and the Netherlands – The shipping cost are EUR 19.90 (up to 20 kg), the delivery time is approximately 2 – 4 business days.
2. Poland – The shipping cost are EUR 29.90 (up to 20 kg), the delivery time is approximately 2 – 4 business days.

Information to calculate the delivery date

The time for delivery starts when payment is made in advance on the business day after the payment has been received and posted in our account with our credit institution (bank) or in case of other payment forms, on the day received and ends with the expiry of the last day of the delivery period. If the last day of the delivery period falls on a Sunday or a nationally recognized general holiday, then the next business day will automatically become that delivery day.

Payment of the Products

When your order is completed and you “check-out” your Shopping Cart you have the following payment methods to choose from:
• Cash (shipment of the products upon receipt of payment)
• PayPal (directly with your PayPal account by bank transfer or use of a credit card)
• Direct debit (business customers only)
• Direct credit card payment (with your financial institution)
• Instant money transfer
